This policy explains my practices regarding the collection and use of your personal information, as well as your options concerning the collection, use and disclosure of that information. By accessing this website, you accept the practices described in this policy.

Protecting your privacy

Your privacy is of utmost importance to me. I use the following procedures to safeguard the information you trust me with:

• Limiting the collection, use and disclosure of your information to only those activities necessary to operate my business
• Ensuring that information is only accessible to authorized individuals on a need-to-know basis
• Requiring that other organizations I deal with hold to the same standards as I do when handling your personal information.

Under certain laws, you have the right to know what information I have about you, how it was obtained, how I use it and to request that it is updated, corrected and, in some circumstances, deleted.

Your contact Information

I collect and hold your email address and other contact information when you “opt-in” to my email list, order one of my free or paid products or services, or otherwise voluntarily provide me with this information.

I will use your contact information to send information and services you have specifically requested; to notify you of new developments, products, services, training, events and occasional recommendations for individuals and organizations that I feel offer products or services that you might find useful; and to help me improve my website and my product and service offerings. You can unsubscribe at any time. If I send you an email, it will contain an opt-out link that you can click to have your name removed from my email list.

If you supply me with additional contact information (mailing address, cell phone number, etc.), you may receive periodic communications from me, such as mailings, with information on new products and services or upcoming events or other notices that I think will be useful or valuable to my customers.

If you do not wish to receive communications from me, or have a problem with your subscription, you can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the link at the bottom of the email.

Order forms and purchases

This website may use an order form for you to purchase information, products, and services. I collect your contact information (i.e., mailing and email addresses), financial information (i.e., credit card numbers), and demographic information (i.e. city and country) to process your order, to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to communicate with you about your order, and for internal marketing purposes. I may use your contact information to send you a confirmation email that you cannot opt out of. Your contact information is also used to get in touch with you when necessary for additional information to process or fulfill your order. Unique identifiers are collected from website visitors to verify your identity and for use as account numbers in my record system.

Cookies and tracking information

When you visit this website, a cookie may be placed on your computer for a number of reasons, such as (a) to keep track of your shopping cart, (b) to recognize you when you return to my site, and (c) to recognize whether a customer came to my site as a result of a promotion or advertisement with one of my partners sites or email campaign. If you choose to not have your browser accept cookies from my website, you may not be able to view all the text on the screens, or to experience a personalized visit, or to subscribe to certain service and product offerings on my site. I also collect anonymous visitor information about how you utilize my site, such as IP addresses, browser types (such as Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc.), referring pages and pages visited. I use this information (a) to perform anonymous statistical analysis of webpage traffic patterns, (b) to administer my website and servers, and (c) to improve my services.

From time-to-time, I may use the information you provide to me to display advertisements to you on other sites, like Facebook, that are tailored to your personal characteristics, interests, and activities. You can go to those sites to learn how to opt-out of receiving certain ads (note: You may not be able to opt out of all ads).

Links to other sites

This website may contain links to other websites, like my partners’ websites or links to businesses, that may offer information, products or services that my customers might find useful. These sites may request information from you. In such instances, the collection and use of your personal information will be governed by the privacy policy applicable to that site. I do not control the privacy policies, content or links that appear on these sites. I encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party sites or services before providing any of them with your personal information.

Surveys and contests

From time to time, I may conduct online surveys to help me better understand and serve your needs, or conduct contests. These offers may ask for contact information (i.e., email address) and demographic information (i.e., age, or income level). If you give me permission, I may use this contact data from my surveys to send you information about my company.

Information from other sources

For reasons such as improving personalization of my service (i.e., providing better product recommendations or special offers that I think will interest you), I might receive information about you from other sources and add it to my account information. I also sometimes receive updated delivery and address information from my shippers or other sources so that I can correct my records and deliver your next purchase or communication more easily.

Sharing with third parties

I will never sell your email address.

I may share your personal information with third-party contractors and service providers who assist me in delivering my products and services, fulfilling product orders, marketing my company and products, and operating my business.

In the event that substantially all of my assets are acquired by or merged with another company, customer information will be one of the transferred assets. Information collected on this website from those who have elected to receive offers from my business partners is made available to those business partners. I release account and other personal information when I believe release is appropriate to comply with law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of my company, my users, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection and credit risk reduction.

Parental consent

This website is not directed to children under the age of 13 and I will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. I strongly recommend that parents participate in their children’s exploration of the internet and any online services and use their browser’s parental controls to limit the areas of the internet to which their children have access.

Your GDPR rights

If you are within the European Union, you are entitled to certain information and have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation. Those rights include:

I will retain any information you choose to provide to me until the earlier of: (a) you asking me to delete the information, (b) my decision to cease using my existing data providers, or (c) the Company decides that the value in retaining the data is outweighed by the costs of retaining it.

You have the right to request access to your data that the Company stores and the right to either rectify or erase your personal data.

You have the right to seek restrictions on the processing of your data.

You have the right to object to the processing of your data and the right to the portability of your data.

To the extent that you provided consent to the Company’s processing of your personal data, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based upon consent that occurred prior to your withdrawal of consent.

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority that has jurisdiction over issues related to the General Data Protection Regulation.

I require only the information that is reasonably required to enter into a contract with you. I will not require you to provide consent for any unnecessary processing as a condition of entering into a contract with us. See the Privacy Policy Officer contact information earlier in this policy.

Revisions to this policy

My business and the regulation of personal information in Canada and elsewhere may change. This privacy policy will change also, and use of information that I gather now is subject to the privacy and security statement in effect at the time of collection.
