My story

Not all parts of my story will be like yours, but chances are the big takeaways are similar.

I’m here to tell you: You’re not too old. This is not all there is to life. You don’t have to bench yourself while others take home the trophies.

You can create a life you love.

You can treat yourself with kindness.

You can be the healthy adult in charge of yourself.

And I’ll use all my tools and training to help you get there.

You get all of me.

I’m an award-winning theatre instructor, certified yoga teacher, experienced workshop leader and a trained life coach. I’ve got my 1st and 2nd degree training in the Usui system of reiki. I’ve worked as a therapeutic clown at the Juravinski Cancer Centre and mental health peer support for families. I’m a trained image consultant. I’ve owned my own business since 1990. And I’ve coached people in various professional settings for more than 30 years.

I was 45 when my parents got sick.

That’s when life became a joyless treadmill of wake at dawn, work, talk to doctors, visit hospitals, run a business, be super-mom, grab takeout, fall into bed. My “balanced meal” was a Cliff bar. My “me time” was numbing out with a glass of wine and Facebook while I compared myself to everyone else’s perfect life. My “workout” was running to and from the car.

I spent years doing everything for others and nothing for myself–and it didn’t make me a better mom, daughter, wife, friend, colleague or teacher. I had to rediscover what lights me up and commit to making it happen.

Anne gets to the heart of what matters with a single question and adapts on-the-fly to give me exactly what I need. I completely trust her to help me create a ‘third act’ of my life that I will love.

I’ll show you the gold in your pocket.

I’ve put all my work and life experiences together into developing a system that works, so that you can find ways to pursue your dreams and goals with confidence and joy.

I create a safe, supportive, caring, nurturing space for you to rediscover yourself. When we work together, heavy things feel lighter. Hard things feel easier. And we’ll find fun in unexpected places.

I’ll know I’ve done my job if, at the end of our time together, you can say with a smile: “I believe in myself.”

It would be my greatest honour to help you realize your best midlife.

Thinking about what makes me feel good was very difficult. I looked at the giant blank page at the beginning with fear and Anne turned that into pride by the end of it all. I have recommended her to friends who noticed a positive change in me.
